Breckenridge in October combines warm days and cool nights. Be sure to bring a sweater for the chilly nights and it might just snow while you are here!
Altitude
Breckenridge sits at 9600 feet above sea level and the altitude can affect anyone and everyone from lower elevations. It’s best to come prepared and stay hydrated. Plan to drink 2-4 times more water and beverages with electrolytes than you normally would to help feeling the affects.
