90th Anniversary Challenge Coin (Black Ribbon)

This special limited-edition challenge coin commemorates the 90th Anniversary of the Colorado State Patrol in September of 2025. The front of the coin has an outer edge of polished gold that is etched with “Colorado State Patrol” and the commemorative dates of “1935-2025” in black enamel. At the center of the coin is a raised “90th” number in polished gold and outlined in black enamel. A polished black “Anniversary” ribbon wraps around the “90th” number. The matte pebbled background behind the number provides contrast and depth to highlight the 90th Anniversary ribbon.  

The back of the coin pays homage to the founding of the Patrol. The polished gold outer edge is etched with “Colorado State Highway Courtesy Patrol” in black enamel. The name honors the original founding name of the agency in 1935. The Colorado State Seal is at the center of the coin in raised polished gold. The matte pebbled background behind the seal adds contrast and visual depth to the engraved details of the state seal.
