For 55 years now!

This year will mark the 55th year that members of the Colorado State Patrol have gathered to play golf, see colleagues from across the years of their careers, share stories, and enjoy in the great game of golf with friends and family!

This year’s tournament is hosted in partnership with the Colorado State Patrol Association and will be held at the Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club located at:

1050 Titus Blvd
Fort Carson, CO 80913
(Fort Carson US Army Base – Visitor Pass Required*)

Tee time will be 1:30 PM and registration opens at 12:00 PM. A dinner will be provided to all participants after the round of golf, lots of raffle prizes, awards and a chance to compete for the the Don Naccarato Cup (lowest team score with at least one CSP member past or present).

The cost is $125.00 per player. This year we are excited to introduce online registration for the Smokey Invitational. The deadline for registration is May 1st, 2026. Please register early to avoid being shut out!

How to get a Visitor Pass for the Ft. Carson Army Base

Visitors can apply online for a pass from their computer or mobile device here (link address: https://pass.aie.army.mil/). Visitors will receive a background check, and after entering their information, including a driver’s license or passport number, they will be notified if their pass is approved or denied. If approved, they can proceed to a kiosk at Visitor Control Center 1 for issuance of their pass. If denied, please go to the Visitor Control Center front desk for assistance.

Visitor Control Center 1 is located at Gate 1: Nelson Boulevard east of Colorado Highway 115, open 24/7

Directions from Visitor Control Center 1 (Ft. Carson Gate 1) to Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club

Proceed through Fort Carson Gate 1 & head east on Nelson Blvd for 300′
Turn right to stay on Nelson Blvd for 1.4 miles
Turn right onto Titus Blvd for 0.6 miles
Turn right into the Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club
